Brown Trout! The pit bulls of the fast running streams. (May) Spring is one of the best times to hunt down this beautiful fish. Using large rabbit streamers or rubber leg maribu monsters to attract the aggressive nature of the fish out of the wood pile and at least see a flash of this powerful fighter. Summer time can bring even more chances to catch a big brown trout with dry flies hoppers and mice. How ever you take your turn at this wonderful fish enjoy it and enjoy the beauty of the river and all that nature can offer. The Brown Trout, pound for pound it is possibly one of the most powerful fish in the Michigan river system.
